Service Learning

Get involved in the community!

Whether your program of study requires service hours, or you're looking for an opportunity to make a difference, service learning allows students to connect with the community while gaining valuable academic and career experiences. Students can complete service learning as a class, through individual or group class projects or as an individual choice! 

Partner and volunteer sites

Most CCBC students choose to volunteer at the following organizations:

  • Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS)
  • Catonsville YMCA Multiple Sclerosis Program
  • Eastern Family Resource Center/Shelter
  • Hungry Harvest
  • Maryland Council for Special Equestrians
  • My Sister's Place
  • Our Daily Bread
  • Paul's Place
  • Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club
  • The 6th Branch
