Being in student clubs has helped me in my path to becoming a bigger part of my community and helping more individuals.
First-Year Experience (FYE) mentors play a vital role in helping new students learn about our campus and community by creating a welcoming and informative environment. FYE mentors also play an active role in Summer Bridge, new student Orientation and other first-year programs.

The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the liaison between students and CCBC administration and plans programs that allow students to express their opinions and concerns. Students can join the SGA as a paid executive board member or as a volunteer.

A Student Engagement Ambassador’s goal is to cultivate meaningful student experiences, whether that is giving students advice in building their class schedules, inviting students to get involved, giving campus tours to prospective students or sharing personal stories about their experiences at CCBC.

The Student Programming Board (SPB) provides a variety of social, educational and entertainment-based programs that promote a vibrant and inclusive student community.

Community Engagement Advocates are at the forefront of educating, supporting and uplifting the CCBC community in exciting ways! These students have the opportunity to help plan the Alternative Break program, support voter education initiatives, facilitate conversations around political and social justice discourse, and network with community organizations in Maryland, the United States and Internationally.
