Service Learning works with local non-profits, schools and agencies to connect students with community-centered opportunities that address social challenges. Whether their program of study requires service hours or they're looking for a chance to foster civic duty, students apply classroom knowledge to real-world experiences.
Students can complete service learning as a class, through individual or group class projects or as an individual choice!
Certain CCBC programs include a Service Learning requirement to enhance both learning and civic engagement. Of course, students can participate in Service Learning opportunities outside of these programs, but it's important that students within these fields of study gain a deeper understanding of the hands-on experience.
