From bad weather and regional power outages to campus-based emergencies such as a fire, Campus Alert is a free*, smart and convenient way to get the news and stay safe.
If you are a currently enrolled student or an employee, you are automatically opted in to Campus Alerts.
You can opt out of text alerts by logging into myCCBC and going to SIMON, but you are not able to opt out of email messaging.

Campus alerts will contain the following information:
Alerts will describe the nature and location of the emergency, such as smoke in a specific building on one of our three campuses or three extension centers.
Alerts provide advice that pertains to most campus occupants, such as a suggestion to evacuate, hide or shelter-in-place.
In accordance with federal law, alerts may include timely warnings regarding reported crimes that have been confirmed by the CCBC Department of Public Safety.
