You have many options for submitting your high school transcripts to CCBC!

Online (Recommended)

We recommend using secure transcript delivery services like Parchment or Scribbles, but if your transfer institution uses another service, that is ok! Or, if your institution would like to send the transcript directly to us, they can email highschooltranscript@ccbcmd.edu.

You can also bring your transcript to any Enrollment Services Center during regular business hours.

To submit your GED scores to CCBC, follow the prompts from the GED Testing Service directly. 

Whether you've previously attended another institution or need to transfer in credits earned through exams, our office is here to help you apply prior credit to your CCBC program. Here's how to submit your transcript to CCBC:

Request an evaluation of transfer credit

If you would like to request an official evaluation of transfer credit from previous institutions, agencies, or organizations, you must submit a Transfer Evaluation Request form. We will process your transfer evaluation request 2-4 weeks after we receive your transcripts.

We offer several options if you need to request your official CCBC transcript. Keep in mind that there is a $12 fee for each official transcript you order.

Online (Recommended)

• You can order an emailed PDF transcript or mail a paper transcript.
• Current students should access our online transcript ordering system, directly through SIMON in myCCBC.
• Former students will need to create an account in Parchment.

Mail (For check or money order)

Transcripts are processed within 3 - 10 business days; allow extra time during the start and end of the semester, Commencement, peak registration and holidays.

• Download, print and fill out the Transcript Request Form.
• Send the completed form and payment (check or money order) to:

In-person (Same day hand-carried, cash requests)

• Fill out the Transcript Request Form.
• Bring a valid photo ID and your completed form to the Enrollment Services Center.
• A signed authorization letter by the CCBC student is required to release a transcript to anyone other than the CCBC student. The person bringing in the letter must have a copy of the CCBC student’s photo ID and their personal photo ID.
• Payment is accepted in the form of cash, check, money order or credit card. CCBC Owings Mills does not accept cash.

If you need to prove that you are enrolled or have earned a degree at CCBC, you can request verification.

Enrollment verification

• Complete a Request for Verification of Enrollment/Course Form.
• Submit to Enrollment Services Center in-person during office hours or by email: ccbcregistrar@ccbcmd.edu.
• Allow for 48 hours for us to complete your request.

Degree verification

CCBC has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide degree and enrollment verification. Students may check the status of the request by calling 703.742.7791 or by visiting their website. If you have further questions, please contact 443.840.2222.

You can order a replacement degree or certificate directly through Parchment.

Change of name

If your name has changed since attending CCBC and you want the name to change on your degree or certificate, submit an official Change of Student Information Form before requesting your replacement document.

For name changes, you have two options:

1. Formally change your first or last name. We recommend this option if you have legally changed your name through marriage, divorce, court order or any other means. This will change your name across all CCBC records. For this option, please submit a Change of Student Information Form and related documentation.
2. Add a preferred first name. We recommend this if you do not plan to legally change your name, but wish to be addressed by a different name. Your preferred name will be used for your CCBC email, faculty class roster, CCBC student ID cards, Brightspace and the student portal. Everywhere else will still display your legal name. To add a preferred first name, you can submit a Change of Student Information Form or update in SIMON through myCCBC.

To change your mailing address or residency status, you will need to complete the Change of Student Information Form. You will also need to provide two forms of documentation dated three months before the start of the enrollment period. We accept the following forms of ID:

• State ID or information card for ID
• Utility bill (gas/electric, phone, cable)
• Bank statement
• IRS tax transcript
• Lease or rental agreement
• Voter's registration card

Keep in mind that an employer or post office box address cannot be used as an address. Documents presented after the last day of the third week of classes, or after 20% equivalence of the semester or session, will be reviewed and considered for the next term. 

If you need to change your phone number or email address, you can submit a Change of Student Information Form or update in SIMON through myCCBC.

We only ask for your social security number or tax identification number during the application process. If you need to change this number, refer to the Request for Social Security Number or TIN Form.

It's crucial that you update us as soon as you change your program of study. It could impact your degree progress and your financial aid status!

To change your major, submit a Program of Study Change Form. Keep in mind that program availability may change over time, so be sure to select a program that is currently being offered!
