Become a MSDE-licensed teacher in as few as two years.

Approved by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) as an alternative preparation program (MAAPP), CCBC provides tailored support to school-based employees in MANSEF-member schools.

Stay in your current position within your MANSEF school while you study. The program is designed to be mostly online, allowing you to learn when and where it is most convenient for you.

  • Onsite/In-school mentor. Gain invaluable guidance and support from a mentor within your school.
  • Hands-on support. Benefit from non-evaluative clinical supervision to help you thrive.
  • Individualized program. Complete the program at your own pace, within three years.

Who is eligible?

If you are an school-based employee in a MANSEF-member school and have earned at least a bachelor's degree, you may be eligible to participate in this program. This includes:

  • Teachers
  • Paraeducators
  • Teaching assistants
  • Community support assistants
