Teacher Education

Make a lasting impact.

We teach the teachers.

Everyone remembers their favorite teacher, that figure who inspired a love of learning and motivated them to excel. CCBC's teacher training combines traditional general education courses with in-person field experience to get you ready for the classroom where you can make a difference in students' lives.

Whether you are just beginning a degree, are currently working in the education field or hold a bachelor's degree and are seeking certification in Maryland, CCBC has the program for you. Several of our programs are available fully online!

Are you currently employed at a MANSEF-member school? You may be eligible to complete the MAAPP at CCBC program and fast-track your way to your MSDE Standard Professional License.

We also offer the Associate of Arts in Teaching (A.A.T.), which provides a guaranteed path for students seeking a seamless transfer to most Maryland colleges' Teacher Education programs.
