Clint McCallum is a composer, performer, poet, author, and teacher living in Baltimore Maryland. He composes emotionally immediate contemporary music and writes about how we use music to transcend what we were.
He holds a B.M. in music composition from the Oberlin Conservatory, and a Ph.D. in music from the University of California San Diego.
At the CCBC he teaches classes on audio technology, music appreciation, and the music business. In addition to demonstrating a mastery of knowledge presented in these courses, his students develop their own compositional voices by writing exciting new music and sharing it with one another.
