This course provides an overview of skills needed to write books for career advancement. Topics to be covered include choosing a unique topic or concept that will stand out to agents and editors; establishment of a writing style, structure, and slant that will appeal to a unique audience as well as keep readers engaged; development of invaluable strategies for setting a writing schedule and banishing "writer's block" and assessment of current traditional publishing industry works and techniques that can be used in gaining notice of editor and agent.
