Emergency Vehicle Operations Control (SAS 634)

This course is designed to enable the student who is a law enforcement officer to learn how to improve on the knowledge and skills needed to operate emergency vehicles (including police cruisers) properly and safely in a variety of situations they may encounter in the course of their duties. Topics to be covered include braking, steering throttle control, turning, accelerating and decelerating, stopping, accident avoidance, low and high speed pursuits,oversteer, and skids.
