De-escalation and Conflict Resolution Through Crisis Interverntion Training (SAS 277)

This course is designed to introduce public safety practitioners to a nationally recognized model which includes topics on de-escalation skills. The knowledge and skills gained will give public safety pratitioners additional resources to use when encountering individuals struggling with a crises. Topics to be covered include behavioral health, crisis intevention, substance abuse, self-aid after a traumatic incident, and interaction with specialized populations.
