This course is designed to enable the student to learn about pursuing a career in nonprofit fundraising. Topics to be covered include identification of skills needed in successful fundraising, defining all areas of nonprofit fundraising, annual funds, special events, corporate relations, foundation relations, major gifts, and planned giving, examination of capital campaigns while learning their crucial role in nonprofit fundraising, and utilization of fundraising software tools that track fund-raising efforts and enhance results.
