Is a course in which students prepare for the transition to the role of the registered nurse generalist. Emphasis is placed on the concepts of cellular regulation, neural regulation, advanced perfusion, and multisystem/trauma. Supervised simulations and clinical experiences are designed to provide students with the opportunity to assume the role of the nurse generalist to manage groups of clients, delegate appropriate tasks, and develop professional leadership skills. An additional diagnostic test fee is required at time of registration. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): NURN 234 (with a grade of "C" or better.
