Is a course in which students examine the role of the nurse generalist in the provision of complex nursing care to clients, families, and communities. Emphasis is placed on the nursing concepts of advanced elimination, immunity, inflammation, end of life, perioperative, and community-based nursing care. Supervised simulation and clinical experiences are designed to enhance students' development of clinical reasoning and clinical judgment. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): NURN 160 (with a grade of "C" or better.
