Surveys the basic principles of chemistry as they relate to funeral service; examines the chemical principles and precautions involved in sanitation, disinfection, public health, embalming practice, and the government regulation of chemicals currently used in funeral service. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): ESOL 042 and ESOL 054 or ACLT 052 or ACLT 053; and MATH 082.
Lab Fee: $20.00.
