Introduces students to simultaneous interpreting between American Sign Language (ASL) and English with minimal time provided between delivery of source language text into target language text. Skills are developed using both rehearsed and spontaneous texts. Students work on prediction strategies, message comprehension, composition and demeanor. Course offered once a year (fall or spring).

Prerequisite(s): INTR 220 with a "B" or higher.
