Examines the principles associated with individuals and groups in crisis. Approaches to assist those experiencing the different types of crises are introduced and practiced. Focus is on assessments, appropriate interventions, and the application of ethics specific to crisis situations. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): HUSC 139.
