Is a course in which students develop the intermediate writing necessary for success in ESOL 043 with an emphasis on academic paragraph development. Students learn to use a recursive writing process to develop and organize ideas and write with unity and coherence using a variety of sentence types. Students write and revise in response to theme-based intermediate materials that develop critical thinking skills. Course content reflects the diversity of the student population, the global nature of society, and the expectations of college courses. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
Prerequisite(s): ESOL 022, ESOL 023 and ESOL 024 or placement into ESOL 032.
