Is a continuation of CHEM 200; discusses spectroscopic, chemical and physical properties and uses of organic compounds; emphasizes aromatics, aldehydes, ketones, acids, amines and derivatives; touches on carbohydrates, amino acids and proteins. 3 hours lecture and 1 hour recitation per week. Concurrent enrollment in CHEM 203 is highly recommended. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
Prerequisite(s): Minimum grade of "C" in CHEM 200 and CHEM 201.
