Introduces students to the basic graphic elements and symbols used in a variety of industrial drawings. Technical prints covered include machine drawings, sheet metal drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings, piping and plumbing system drawings, and drawings representing electrical systems. Sketching concepts are presented to support student understanding of basic drawing principals. Students also learn to recognize standard features in schematics, and read and interpret symbols used in electrical, piping, hydraulic and pneumatic, and welding. Formerly EMET 105, earn credit for one only. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): ACLT 052 or ACLT 053 or (ESOL 054 and ESOL 052).
