Is a course that examines modern biological principles to increase awareness of the relationships between scientific thought, current knowledge in biology, and everyday living. This course does not serve as a prerequisite for other biology courses. Students may receive credit for only one of the following courses: BIOL 100, BIOL 108, BIOL 110. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
Prerequisite(s): ACLT 053 or (ESOL 052 and ESOL 054) and ASE MATH or a satisfactory score on the MATH placement test.
General Education: Biological and Physical Sciences (B).
