24 dual instruction flight hours, 11 solo flight hours, 20 ground instruction hours, provides the final phase of flight and simulator training toward the completion of a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Private Pilot Certificate, Airplane category. Topics include single pilot resource management, cross country flying, unusual flight attitudes, night flying, basic instrument flying, short and soft field takeoffs and landings, and FAA Airman Certification Standards. A valid FAA Second Class Medical Certificate is required. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): AVMT 132 and approval of the Aviation Program Director.
Lab Fee: $7,500.00.
