Rigging (APP 950)

Continuing Education Course

3 - 4 CEU

This course is designed to enable the plumber/steamfitter apprentice to learn the fundamentals of rigging to be used on construction sites. On the last day there will be a crane on the premises for the apprentice to do rigging and pick up and move loads by use of signaling. Topics to be covered include knot tying, use of wire ropes and slings, signaling, use of two-way radios, and safety.
