Principles of Chair for Massage Therapy (AHL 303)

Learn how to conduct chair massages. Learn protocols unique to the application of chair massage and will be able to provide on-site chair massage at the completion of the course. Safety and sanitation considerations will be taken into account, as well as the development of biomechanical techniques to limit injury and muscle strain during application. Learn of massage equipment ergonomics; safety and sanitation; indications and contraindications for the application of chair massage; client retention methods for chair massage business; and injury prevention.
