Miscellaneous Info: For information on taking the GED test call 410-767-0538 6th grade reading and math levels. We will take students at a 5th grade level for a longer remediation program. Instruction is delivered Mondays - Fridays from 8am - 4pm Enrollment dates monthly. Students that need to make up high school credits to get their high school diploma should: 1. Either contact their day school guidance counselor to find out if they will accept a college credit course to replace the high school course. The student would then get a high school diploma from their particular school. OR 2. contact the Baltimore County Public Schools Alternative Education System at 410-887-2270 or www.bcps. org click on Offices, Alternative Education. This office offers evening classes at high schools for students to make up the missed credits. If they do not offer a particular subject, they will make arrangements with area colleges to allow the student to take a credit course. The student will receive a Baltimore County Public High School Diploma. These classes are only available to students under 21 years of age. 3. Students over 21 years old must take the GED classes and take the GED test.
