Fine and Performing Arts

Associate of Fine Arts

Format

In-person

Location

Catonsville, Dundalk, Essex

This degree program is designed to serve students who plan to transfer to majors in the visual or performing arts culminating in the Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts, or Bachelor of Music.

Semester Sequence

Students who want to earn a Fine and Performing Arts degree should consult the Arts Pathway course tracks to see what courses would be most beneficial. Students who have decided on a particular transfer pattern should check that transfer pattern to see the entire semester sequence.

Students are required to complete the English and Mathematics requirements within the first 24 credit hours of courses. Any required developmental (non-credit) English and Math courses must be taken before, or concurrent with, these classes.

Students with no developmental coursework who want to finish an associate degree in two years should plan to take 15 credits/semester. Taking fewer credits/semester will increase the time needed to complete a degree.
