Emergency Medical Technology is a rapidly expanding profession involving the provision of immediate care for the critically ill or injured at the scene of an emergency and transporting these patients to a medical facility. This entry level program is designed to educate students at the Emergency Medical Technician (open enrollment) and Paramedic (selective admission) levels of prehospital clinicians. The program includes specialized courses based upon the most current Emergency Medical Services Education Standards required to seek licensure as a Paramedic.
