CCBC offers part-time student employment opportunities to students with financial need through the Federal Work Study (FWS) program.
FWS is a federally funded employment program that provides opportunities for students to earn money to assist with educational and living expenses while pursuing their degree. In addition, students can gain marketable job skills and relevant work experience to help them find employment after graduation.
Student employment positions may be located on or off campus. The award year extends from July 1 through June 30 of the following year. FWS awards are granted on a first-come, first-served basis until all funds are awarded. Students are paid on a bi-weekly basis and cannot earn more than the total FWS awarded.
Students first need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Once enrolled at CCBC, students must:

The hourly rate for FWS positions is $15.
Credits
To be eligible for FWS, you need to enroll in at least 6 credits per semester.
