CCBC is pleased to announce Darryl C. Green as the guest speaker for the President's Distinguished African American Lecture Series. The event takes place 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 27, Romadka College Center, Theatre, CCBC Essex.
Darryl C. Green is an acclaimed author, coach, and motivational speaker whose message of healing, reconciliation and deep forgiveness has transformed lives both domestically and internationally. His impactful work was recently featured in a four-page spread in the June 2023 edition of People Magazine, highlighting his mission and the profound impact he has on individuals and communities.
As president and principal consultant of Deep Forgiveness, a non-profit organization, Green is dedicated to the restoration of families and economic empowerment for the disenfranchised. A staunch advocate for libertarian reconciliation and forgiveness, he is recognized by industry professionals as an innovative change agent in the fields of mental health, healing, social justice, restorative justice, and forgiveness.
Green’s passion stems from personal tragedy – the murder of his teenage brother – which fuels his commitment to helping others find peace and healing. This passion has made him a highly sought-after lecturer and presenter at colleges and universities across the United States and abroad.
Green holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Coppin State University, a Master of Science in Social Work from Morgan State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Pfeiffer University. He is currently a full-time professor in Morgan State University’s School of Social Work.
