One in 3 college students struggles with food insecurity*, directly impacting their ability to stay in school and graduate.
This fall, CCBC’s student pantries have supported over 4,000 visits and distributed nearly 15,000 essential items across our campuses. Each week, our campuses are seeing over 100 visits per pantry. If this trend continues, our pantries will surpass last year’s visits by early 2025.
Throughout November, we invite the community to support the Student Pantries on the CCBC Catonsville, Dundalk and Essex campuses as part of our Giving Tuesday campaign. Donations to keep the pantries and lockers stocked make a critical difference in providing nutritious food and other essential items to students in need.
Across the board, pantries and food lockers are making a significant impact, helping students stay focused on their education. As the holiday season approaches and more students seek help, your support of CCBC Student Pantries helps ensure no student goes hungry.
