CCBC students may benefit from a recent announcement from the White House. In regards to student loans, $10,000 in federal student debt will be forgiven for most borrowers. Up to $20,000 will be canceled for Pell Grant recipients.
The relief is limited to Americans earning under $125,000 per year, or $250,000 for married couples or heads of households. Additionally, the payment pause has been extended on most federal student loans through Dec. 31, 2022.
