Appointed to the CCBC Board of Trustees by Maryland Governor Wes Moore, Lopez is a strategic leader with deep experience in philanthropy, committed to driving impactful change in the Baltimore region.

Appointed to the CCBC Board of Trustees by Maryland Governor Wes Moore, Lopez is chief operating officer of the Greater Baltimore Committee which is the leading voice for the private sector in the Baltimore region, providing insightful economic and civic leadership to drive collective impact.

Prior to joining the Greater Baltimore Committee, Lopez was chief of strategy and operations at Last Mile Education Fund, which aims to increase low-income underrepresented students in tech and engineering fields by addressing critical gaps in financial support to graduate.

Lopez has previously worked with well-known foundations in Baltimore as a philanthropy consultant for the Richman Family Foundation, leading its early childhood strategy development, and with the Abell Foundation, conducting due diligence for a large investment in Greenlight Fund Baltimore and spending several years at the Baltimore Community Foundation. Previously, Lopez was the launch team facilitator of the Mayor’s Scholars Program, a last-dollar scholarship for Baltimore City Community College students. She also launched the Weiss Institute, a partnership of America's Promise and the Say Yes to Education Foundation, which partnered with communities to create promise programs and improve K-12 college and career readiness.

Lopez holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School and a bachelor’s degree from Brown University. She is the proud daughter of an Ecuadorian immigrant and speaks fluent Spanish.
