Rhythms of the Land is a film about generations of Black farmers in the United States from the enslavement period to the present, whose intense love of the land and dedication to community enabled them to survive against overwhelming odds. The Director, Dr. Gail P. Myers, will give her insights into the film. She will be joined by local activists, Eric Jackson, Co-Servant Director of Black Yield Institute who will be discussing land sovereignty and food justice in Baltimore.
Co-sponsored by Service-Learning, Institute for Social and Economic Justice (ISEJ), Male Student Success Initiative (MSSI), and the Office of Student Engagement (OSE).
