Welcome to the School of Health Professions
The degree programs are generally two-year courses of study that allow the student to achieve either an Associate of Science or Associate of Applied Science degree. Graduates of the Physician Assistant program receive a certificate that allows registration for a national certification examination and a Master of Science degree from Towson University. We do offer a few certificate programs! Both CT and MRI are six-month programs offered to current ARRT Registered Radiographers and LPN is a one-year certificate offered on the Dundalk campus.
Each program prepares graduates who are eligible, to take certification examinations given by state and national certification agencies. Each program is currently accredited by a state or national accreditation agency.
Paper applications to the SHP programs are neither be available nor accepted for admission. Once a student has applied to CCBC, they may log into their SIMON account with CCBC and apply to the program through Student Services menu.
THE FEE FOR THE PROGRAM ADMISSION APPLICATION IS $20
All students accepted into all School of Health Professions programs are required to pay a one-time $75.00 fee to participate in a data management and clinical tracking program called TYPHON.
For additional health care training opportunities be sure to view our Continuing Education options.
NOTE: Applicants who are accepting a seat into the Practical or Registered Nursing programs are required to pay a non-refundable $200 seat fee to accept their offer of admission and reserve their space in the RN programs or the PN program. The fee will be applied to the student account after the first several weeks of class. Students who accept the seat and then do not attend the program will not be eligible for a refund of the fee.
