Accreditation is a voluntary process intended to strengthen and sustain the quality and integrity of higher education. It instills public confidence that an institution is fulfilling its mission.

The Middle States Commission examines the entire institution; therefore, evaluators will spend four very busy days reviewing the college’s self-study focusing on student success, visiting the college campuses, interviewing faculty, staff and students.

Middle States AccreditationOnce accredited, institutions agree to abide by accreditation standards and regulate themselves by taking responsibility for their own improvement.

CCBC welcomes its guests and is excited as it moves through this step of the reaccreditation process.
