Kirk Bauer of Disabled Sports USA/Warrior Fighters and Hero Dogs
to be honored at Veterans Tribute May 17 at CCBC Catonsville


BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD (May 7, 2012) – The Community College of Baltimore County is celebrating Armed Forces Day two days early with a special Veterans Tribute.

This patriotic salute to military veterans of every era will be held 6 – 9 p.m. Thursday, May 17 in the Athletic and Wellness Center (Building L) at CCBC Catonsville, 800 South Rolling Road.

Sponsored by Students in Free Enterprise, the Enterprise Institute and the History Club in the School of Business, Social Sciences, Wellness and Education at CCBC, this event is free and open to the community. No tickets are required.

The program schedule is:

6:00 p.m.

Color Guard representing all branches of the military

6:15 p.m.

National Anthem sung by CCBC student

6:30 p.m.

Baltimore American Indian Center will perform a special Veterans Dance in honor of the veterans

6:45 p.m.

"Hero Dogs" presented by Joanne Ammon with Labrador Theodore Roosevelt

7:30 p.m.
