CCBC Foundation Scholarships

How do I apply for CCBC Scholarships?

The Community College of Baltimore County offers two types of scholarship opportunities:

Most CCBC Foundation and Institutional scholarships are need-based and offered every year. To be considered for most CCBC scholarships, please complete the following:

Before you apply:

  1. Obtain your CCBC student ID number, if you don’t already have one. This number was assigned to you when you applied for admission to CCBC. If you have not applied for admission please visit the Admissions office to apply to for admission and receive a student ID number.
  2. Know which major and degree program (AA, AS, AAS, AAT, or Certificate) you are pursuing (visit your SIMON account to check your current major). All scholarships are linked to a degree and will affect which scholarships are recommended to you. Complete this form and return to the Enrollment Services Center on each campus. Only submit this form if your major information is incorrect in your SIMON account.
  3. Use your current cumulative GPA on your application; we will update your GPA with the most up-to-date information before your application is reviewed for 2012-2013 scholarships. A minimum GPA if required unless otherwise noted within individual scholarship criteria.
  4. Complete the entire application and submit any requested documentation.*
  5. Read all instructions and criteria carefully. It is very important that your application be complete and filled out correctly in order to be considered for any CCBC scholarships.

* - IMPORTANT: Incomplete and/or inaccurate applications will be disqualified. CCBC reserves the right to adjust or cancel your award if it is subsequently determined that you do not meet the qualifications for his scholarship.
