Welcome to the home page for Administrative Services at the Community College of Baltimore County. We have developed this site to keep the college community informed of ongoing events and changes within the department.
The Vice President of Administrative Services is the chief financial officer of the college. Administrative responsibilities include providing leadership in the areas of accounting, financial management and reporting, budget (operating and capital), capital finance, accounts payable, grants accounting, payroll, purchasing, student finance, auxiliary services, environmental compliance, facilities management, human resources, information technology and public safety.
CCBC has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for 14 consecutive years (FY1998 - FY2011). The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.
Additionally, the college has been recognized by the GFOA for excellence in budgeting for each of the six consecutive years reviewed (FY2002 - FY2007). The Distinguished Budget Presentation Award reflects the college's commitment to meet the highest principles of governmental budgeting and reporting. To receive this recognition an institution's budget document must receive "proficient" ratings from the GFOA as a policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide and a communications device.
