Painting with Wax: Encaustic Painting
Created by the ancient Greeks, encaustic painting (to burn in) is one of the oldest of painting techniques. Heated wax and pigment are worked together to create a painting that has texture and dimension. Create a painting using wax, pigment, heat, brush and knife or add inclusions such as fiber, twigs or found objects. Supply list*.
