GED/EssentialSkills Registration Information
Summer 2013
Develop the skills in Reading, Math and Writing that are needed to earn a high school diploma. Testing is required at registration.
HOW TO REGISTER
* In person registration Only. To register for Summer 2013, follow these steps:

Attend a a mandatory registration session

Arrive promptly at the event
-
Your skills will be assessed and an advisor will recommend the best course and location for you
-
You may be placed in any one of the following courses:
-
Complete GED
-
Essential Skills I or Essential Skills II
-
Essential Skills Combined
-
Comprehensive Math Skills or Comprehensive Math Skills II
-
Everyone receives personal attention, expect to be in attendance for at least 3 hours
-
To register for classes a student’s social security number is required
-
For tuition classes, payment must be made at the CCBC Bursar’s office before classes begin
-
$10 out-of-county fee applies
-
Students registered for tuition classes, who decide not to attend, must call (443) 840-3094 to receive a refund
-
Students who are 17 years old, or younger, must bring high school withdrawl information to registration.
