GED/EssentialSkills Registration Information
Summer 2013

Develop the skills in Reading, Math and Writing that are needed to earn a high school diploma. Testing is required at registration.

HOW TO REGISTER
* In person registration Only. To register for Summer 2013, follow these steps:

  • Attend a a mandatory registration session
  • Arrive promptly at the event
  • Your skills will be assessed and an advisor will recommend the best course and location for you
  • You may be placed in any one of the following courses:
    • Complete GED
    • Essential Skills I or Essential Skills II
    • Essential Skills Combined
    • Comprehensive Math Skills or Comprehensive Math Skills II
  • Everyone receives personal attention, expect to be in attendance for at least 3 hours
  • To register for classes a student’s social security number is required
  • For tuition classes, payment must be made at the CCBC Bursar’s office before classes begin
    • $10 out-of-county fee applies
  • Students registered for tuition classes, who decide not to attend, must call (443) 840-3094 to receive a refund
  • Students who are 17 years old, or younger, must bring high school withdrawl information to registration.
