Are you ready to improve your English skills?
The non-credit ESOL program offers classes that can help you learn to better listen, speak, read and write in English.
Beginning and Intermediate ESOL classes
Clases de ESOL Básico e ESOL Intermedio
*ESOL Life Skills Beginning – Levels: Intro, 1, 2
*ESOL EL Civics Intermediate – Levels: 3, 4, 5
These classes will help students learn English language skills for life, work, and civics concepts.
All classes offered are 5 weeks/60 hours. Student book and workbook are not included.
To register, students MUST come to one of the WALK-IN ESOL PLACEMENT & REGISTRATION LOCATIONS to sign up.

Classes will start the second week of July and will end the second week of August

Complete class schedules will be given at registration.

ESOL Advanced Classes Continuing Education (Tuition/Non-Credit)
These non-credit courses are for advanced level non-native English speakers. Students registering for these Advanced ESOL courses are not required to come to an ESOL registration session. Classes fill up quickly, so call now to enroll. Students are registered according to the date their tuition payment is received.

Integrated Skills – ESOL Advanced
This course will help non-native speakers, who have above a high intermediate level of English, improve their language skills. Topics include: specific strategies in listening, speaking, reading, grammar, vocabulary development, and writing.
Courses are 5 weeks/60 hours.
Cost: $ 199 (Tuition: $136. Fees: $63) Textbook included.

English Pronunciation for Foreign Speakers (ESOL Pronunciation)
Develop the ability to be better understood. Designed for non-native English speakers who have above a high intermediate level of listening and speaking skills. Topics include: techniques to improve vowel and consonant sounds, syllable and sentence stres, intonation patterns, and speaking style.
Classes are 5 weeks/60 hours.
