A combination of talented student athletes, quality coaching and topnotch
facilities makes athletics at CCBC Dundalk a unique and rewarding experience.
Dundalk’s athletic teams compete for state, regional and national championships
in four sports.
As a member of Region XX of the National Junior College Athletic Association and
the Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference, CCBC Dundalk has had many
NJCAA All-Americans while also preparing students for future academic and athletic
experiences at four-year institutions.
CCBC Dundalk currently fields teams in men’s basketball, women's basketball, baseball,
and softball .
Athletics Philosophy
At CCBC Dundalk, the goal of the athletic staff is to develop total student
athletes - students who can compete successfully both in the classroom and in
their athletic endeavors. Our teams frequently finish in the top quarter in their
region; numerous players make the all-region teams; and many have achieved
All-American status. Many of the sophomore student athletes continue their
education at four-year institutions; and some have received academic All-American
honors. By promoting the College’s Learning First mission, the Lions’ coaches
take pride in representing CCBC Dundalk with outstanding sportsmanship, numerous
victories, and the academic successes of their student athletes.
NJCAA Eligibility
The eligibility rules for an incoming student at CCBC Dundalk can be very complicated. Anyone wishing to participate in athletics should contact the appropriate coach or the athletic department for information.
