Brandon holds an A.A.S. in Network Technology with Cisco Certification from CCBC, a B.S. in Information Assurance from Capitol College and plans to pursue a graduate degree in Computer Science from George Washington University, where he is currently employed as a security researcher. His research on various security topics has captured the attention of Adobe, Verizon, Sprint, and Cisco. He has discovered several exploits and flaws based on vulnerabilities found in commercial products, web applications and messaging technologies. NEXUS PROGRAM: An alternative admission program for students who have applied to Morgan State University who fall just short of admission to MSU.These students may be selected by MSU’s Office of Admissions to participate in the NEXUS program. This invitation-only program is a collaboration between Morgan State University and The Community College of Baltimore County— offering students the opportunity to take CCBC courses, taught by CCBC faculty, on MSU's campus with the ultimate goal of successfully transferring to Morgan State University within two consecutive semesters. Transfer in a minimum of 56 credits and a maximum of 90 credits (includes: Tech Prep, portfolio of experiential learning, and/or transfer credits from accredited four-year institutions), prior to being matriculated at NLC. The credits taken at CCBC for general education requirements will satisfy NLC’s general education requirements. All CCBC A.A./A.S./A.A.S./A.F.A./ or A.A.T. degree graduates will enter NLC with Junior Standing.CCBC students awarded an A.A./A.S./A.A.S./A.F.A./ or A.A.T. degree, will be able to go into the Baccalaureate degree program of their choosing: B.S. Technical and Professional Studies (completely online program)/B.A. Labor Studies/B.A. Labor Education/B.A. Labor History/B.A. Political Economy of Labor/B.A. Union Leadership and Administration/ or B.A. Labor Safety and Health (all B.A. degrees are hybrid online/classroom programs).
NLC will only accept transfer credits with a grade of ‘C’ or better. NCL does not have an overall GPA requirement for admission.
This Articulation Agreement will transfer the 60-67 CCBC credits into SU's Bachelor's degrees. Students will enter with junior standing. Click left hand link to learn more.
The Application Fee is to Strayer is waived for all CCBC graduates.
The Towson University Freshman Transition Program—a special program for students who have applied to Towson University and have been offered an invitation to participate in the TU Freshman Transition Program. This invitation-only program is a collaboration between Towson University and The Community College of Baltimore County— offering students the opportunity to take CCBC courses, taught by CCBC faculty, on TU's campus with the ultimate goal of successfully transferring to Towson within two consecutive semesters.
