Steps to Enroll in Full/Closed Classes (Overloads)
Maximum class sizes have been established at CCBC to help ensure that you receive the best possible learning experiences. As a result, overloads into classes that have already reached the designated maximum enrollment are given only for truly unusual circumstances.
Late Registration for Open Sections
You will be permitted to register late for an open class without a Dean's/Designee permission before the second class meeting. After the class has met for the second time, you will need the Dean's/Designee permission (in consultation with the instructor).
NOTE: A $30.00 late fee will be assessed for registrations made on or after the first day of the semester.
Exceptions
After the first day of the semester/session, Dean's or Dean Designee's permission will be required for courses that meet only once a week or science courses with labs and abbreviated sessions. On the first day of the semester/session, Dean's or Dean Designee's permission will be required for all Web courses.
You may enroll in an open class before the first class meeting. If you miss one class meeting, the late enrollment policy takes effect.
