Student ID Cards

Effective March 6, 2006, CCBC has changed its internal ID system for students and employees. The old system was based on Social Security numbers. The new system is based on CCBC-generated identification numbers, providing an extra level of protection for your personal information. All CCBC students and employees will need to use their new, college-generated ID number in most instances at CCBC where they previously used a Social Security number. Stop by any CCBC Records and Registration office and get a CCBC ID card. If you already have one, then you already have your ID number.

Whether you already have a card, or you're getting one for the first time, the nine digit number in the lower right corner is your official ID number . . . almost. Replace the first digit with a "9" and there you have it.

Photo ID cards will be issued at the Records and Registration office during normal office hours beginning the one week prior to the start of the classes. New students will receive a Photo ID card or continuing students may obtain a sticker to validate their Photo ID card for the new term. Effective Summer 2007, there is a $5.00 charge for an I.D. replacement.
