How do I register for classes?

  1. Log into the system with your username and password

  2. Click "Enroll On-line/Student Information/Financial Aid".

  3. Click "Registration".

  4. Click "Select Term".

Choose the term for which you are registering. There are both credit and non-credit terms available. Click Submit Term.

  5. For Students with Credit and Non-Credit Schedule Publications Who Know Their CRNs (Course Reference Number)

Click "Add/Drop Classes" from the Menu. Enter CRN in " Add Class" table. Click on "Submit Changes" to officially register. See No. 6 for registration verification information.

  6. Search On-Line Schedule for Classes by Subject

Click "Pre-Registration Class Look-Up" from the Menu. Select the term or enter a date range, then click Submit. You must select a Subject to access the course lookup screen. To select all available subjects, select "All", then click Class Search. You will be shown all the classes that fit your selection criteria. When you place a check mark next to a course, you are given the options to "Register" or " Add Classes to Worksheet". Click the Register option, which will officially register you for the class(es) that you have checked.

To expand your search, click Advance Search.

To further refine a “by Title” search, select all subjects available in the “by Subject” box using the first line - shift key – last line method described above, then type in words or parts of words that may appear in a course title.

These techniques are particularly important for students registering for a non-credit continuing education term, as non-credit courses are not necessarily organized by subject. Similar courses may be available in several different subjects.

  7. Verify Your Registration

Check your "Current Schedule" on the Register, Add & Drop Classes page to verify your enrollment status. The Status column on the right should say "Web Registered" and show the date for all courses for which you are currently enrolled.

  8. Registration Problems

If the Status column shows that there is a "Prereq or Test Score Error", "Instructor Signature", "Time Conflict" or "Closed Course", "Duplicate Course", or other message, then you will not be able to register for the course. You may resume registering for other courses by clicking "Class Search" on the bottom of the screen.

  9. Class Schedule

When you are finished registering, you should click the "Student Schedule by Day & Time" or "Student Detail Schedule" on the menu. It is recommended that you print your schedule.

  10. Fee Assessment

Click on Registration Fee Assessment to review your semester tuition and fee charges. You will also be presented with options for paying your bill, including credit card payment and e-Cashier.
  11. Adding Classes

To add additional classes, start at the Lookup Classes to Add screen or enter the CRN in the Add Class table on the Register, Add/Drop Classes screen.

  12. Dropping Courses

Click "Add/Drop Classes". Classes may be dropped by using the options available in the "Action" field. If no options are listed in the Action field then the class may not be dropped. When add/drops are complete click Submit Changes. Once you drop a course, you will not be able to reregister for that same section through the Web.
