Kolby Rubeling CCBC student-athlete   Why did you choose CCBC? I came to CCBC after taking a year off and living in Utah. I thought it would be a good transition for me after high school and I thought it would help me get back into the swing of things. After starting here I can transfer to a four-year school for engineering. It’s been great so far. I’ve met great people both in the classroom and on the lacrosse field. Why is CCBC the right fit for you, personally? Of all the things CCBC has to offer, athletics stands out in my mind. People can come to CCBC and compete on the same level as four-year schools. For anyone thinking about playing a sport in college, anyone who’d like to go someplace where they’ll actually be able to start, CCBC is a great place to be. At four-year colleges, most freshmen ride the bench. CCBC is a great place to get playing experience. The coaches at CCBC are phenomenal. They’re some of the best coaches I’ve ever had. They really care and they push you to do your best on and off the field. If you’re thinking about attending CCBC, I’d say just go for it. Everyone is approachable, the academic advisors always have time for you and you’re not just some number.
