What made you choose CCBC?
I took a course at CCBC while still in high school and really liked it. After graduation I went straight to a four-year university, and I found out I just wasn’t ready. I remembered that I liked my class at CCBC, so I came back. It was a really wise decision.

What did you like best about CCBC?
CCBC was convenient. The classes were smaller than the ones I had at the four-year school, and I got lots of one-on-one time with my instructors. The instructors really got involved with the students. They're eager to see you do well.

Tell us about the diversity on campus.
The diversity at CCBC was fabulous. Getting involved in campus organizations gave me the opportunity to meet a truly diverse group of people. The groups I was involved in – Black Student Union and the International Student Association – aimed to promote diversity on campus.

How did CCBC prepare you to transfer to a four-year school?
CCBC taught me to think abstractly, and the transfer process was great. I transferred 60 of the 65 credits I had earned.
