CCBC shares tips to help ease the “start of the semester”
parking crunch

Parking during the first two weeks of the semester can often be a challenge. The best way to guarantee a good spot is to arrive early. If that’s not possible, see below for options for overflow parking on each of the campuses.

• CCBC Catonsville will use the gravel lot across from R Building, Collegiate Drive, and Parking Lot 6 as overflow parking areas.
• On an as-needed basis, Catonsville High School will be used for overflow parking during the evening hours only after school activities are over.
• Updates on which parking lots are full with directions to which lots are available will be posted regularly on the Electronic LED sign.
• Once Collegiate Drive is activated for overflow parking, the on-campus Shuttle Bus will make routine stops in this area.
• The shuttle Bus will operate from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.

• Access road to Merritt Boulevard
• Parking Lot #4 Extension
• The Sollers Point Road entrance electronic sign will provide alerts to follow the directional signage posted along routes to overflow parking sites.

• Boumi Temple on King Avenue (To get to the Boumi Temple, follow the signs from the Rossville Boulevard entrance to the King Avenue access road, turn onto the access road, and drive to the stop sign at King Avenue. Then turn left, drive across the bridge over the Beltway, and turn right into the Boumi Temple parking lot.)
• Between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., a shuttle bus will take you from Boumi Temple to various locations on campus.
• After 4 p.m., stop by the Public Safety Office in A-110 and a Public Safety Officer will take you back to Boumi Temple.
