CCBC students: What’s your financial aid IQ?
If you receive financial aid or plan to apply for it, new federal requirements will impact you. Learn how to Make the Grade, Save your Aid.

You must now maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress standards to be eligible for Pell Grant, work-study, state grants and loans.

This means:
• Maintaining a certain grade point average (GPA) based on the number of CCBC credits/billable hours attempted.

• Completing at least 67 percent of attempted coursework every semester. This means earning a passing (A-D) grade in credit courses as well as achieving a passing grade (A, B, C or S) in Developmental Education courses.

If you have questions or are not sure of your financial aid status, check your grades and financial aid information on the student portal (myCCBC).
